BIO
Tess Meyer is a screenwriter working primarily on animated features and TV series with partners in Australia, Asia, North America and Europe. She is currently celebrating the release of her first project co-leading the scripting team as a script producer/story editor, the adventure comedy series ‘100% Wolf’ (2023). Tess’ first series as a lead writer, ‘Lil Wild!’ was renewed for a second and third season and is now streaming on MeWatch and Netflix. Her feature film screenwriting debut, ‘Mia and Me: The Hero of Centopia’ released in cinemas internationally in 2022.
Prior to writing full time, Tess was the development producer at Flying Bark Productions. There, she worked with creative teams to develop all new adventures for established brands ‘Maya the Bee’ and ‘100% Wolf’ as well as nurturing original IP development.
In the live action world, her projects are darker in tone and include award winning short films and a successful web series, Skinford, released on Blackpills, AppleTV, VICE (US), Amazon Prime (US) and SBS Viceland and STAN in Australia. Her original YA pilot, Gifted, was a Semi Finalist in the 2020 Final Draft Big Break competition and a Finalist in the 2021 Save the Cat Screenplay Competition.
