BIO
Tess Meyer is a screenwriter based in Sydney, Australia. She collaborates with partners around the world thanks to the time-space portal she discovered in her apartment (her home office has really great internet). Recent credits include TV Series ‘100% Wolf: The Book Of Hath’ (2023), ‘Lil Wild!’ (now streaming on MeWatch and Netflix) and feature film ‘Mia and Me: The Hero of Centopia’ (2022).
Prior to writing full time, Tess was a development producer at Flying Bark Productions. There, she worked with creative teams to develop all new adventures for established brands ‘Maya the Bee’ and ‘100% Wolf’ as well as nurturing original IP development.
These days, Tess works mostly in animation, but she has proud roots in the live action world as a writer, producer and script editor. Her live action projects are darker in tone and include award winning short films, and a successful web series, ‘Skinford’, released on Blackpills, AppleTV, VICE (US), Amazon Prime (US) and SBS Viceland and STAN in Australia. Her original YA pilot, ‘Gifted’, was a Semi Finalist in the 2020 Final Draft Big Break competition and a Finalist in the 2021 Save the Cat Screenplay Competition. In the immersive space, Tess has collaborated with teams on scripting and story structure for projection shows, interactive films, VR, and interactive live entertainment.
Whatever the medium, Tess is always seeking new opportunities to join writers rooms, take on scripts, voice characters, and build extraordinary worlds with friends and collaborators she is yet to meet.
